The exhibition will open with words of Welcome by Dr. Torsten Wöhlert, Permanent Secretary for Culture and Prof. Dr. Kathrin Busch, Board of nGbK.

The ongoing performance "The red kiss of history" by Bálint Szombathy is part of the evening event.

Bálint Szombathy is a Hungarian-Serbian artist who often uses subversion and deconstruction of cultural canons as a mode of critique of both late socialist and capitalist societies. "The Red Kiss of History" takes the artist’s 1972 photo-performance "Lenin in Budapest" as a starting point for a new action in the context of a contemporary gallery exhibition.
