Störungen im Offenen

The freelance artist and art outreach activist Carmen Mörsch has long envisioned forms of art practice that not only generate critical discourse but also have the potential to transform institutions. Almost twenty years have passed since she, along with the artists’ collective Kunstcoop©, helped pioneer those forms of experimental art outreach which the nGbK, through its unique Art Outreach Scholarship, has given a unique space to.
A review of the outcomes of the last ten years of non-dogmatic forms of art outreach and education will be the springboard for the symposium’s inquiry into the history and practice of compiling bodies of knowledge to educational ends.
