The mobile archive room created by t blank & Lee Stevens of Raumerweiterungshalle / Selbstuniversität e.V. is laid out as a collective learning space. Given the current circumstances, the memory foam seats serve as reminders of the immediate absence of others, but they also let the visitor keep the hope that some day in the future this room will be set up in spacetimes where we can all come together again to discuss, negotiate, research, conspire, and have plenaries about plenaries.

There’s a big round table, a spot to rest and regenerate, a library and some desks for the nerds, a local radio transmission of oral herstories, a photocopier for collaging and collecting, the coral "Cave of Failure", and a multitude of ways to process shredded bureaucratic papers into something more playful or fertile...

A computer workplace offers access to the digital Interflugs archive: here many materials can be found – those whose authorship is so messy and collective that it couldn’t be tracked down, and thus cannot be released publicly online as part of this show (one of the many wondrous contradictions of representing collectivity in institutional frameworks). The materials are as diverse as Videozeitungen, Freie Klasse actions, party pics and more.
