DOMESTIC UTOPIAS
Domestic Utopias examines utopian forms of cohabitation and focuses on the way built space is bound up with gender codes and the distribution of domestic and care work. The exhibition and the catalogue present utopia as a space of possibility in which to explore the potentials and limitations of utopian architectural models and subjective possibilities for action. The texts formulate various positions on utopia as a historical and contemporary space of possibility in greater depth, relating either directly or in a mediated way to the artworks exhibited.
