Pavilion closed for winter break
The pavilion will be closed for a winter break from 2 November 2025 to 14 April 2026. Until 1 April, there will be a window exhibition featuring three paintings by Torsten Politowski. The paintings are part of Torsten Politowski’s activism since 2023 in support of better working conditions for people with mental illness or disabilities. Drawing on his own experience as an employee in a Berlin workshop, he refers to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which states that every person has the right to be able to make a living from their work. The paintings were created in the art studio at Haus Erntekranz in the summer of 2025.

The exhibition programme ›ZENTRUM zwischen Land und Stadt 2025-26‹ (CENTRE between country and city 2025-26) in the pavilion will continue from 15 April to 31 October 2026, with the following opening event:

15 April 2026 from 5 to 7 pm
Opening of the exhibition ›Sorgende Stadt. Teil 2‹ (Caring City. Part 2) with contributions from ›L’Après M‹ from Marseille, ›Lieferando Workers Collective Berlin‹ & ›Migrant Worker & Student Canteen Berlin‹ and six residents’ initiatives from Marzahn-Hellersdorf (until 27 June 2026).
