RAND: Where is the transition?
Verena Hägler and Nicola Reiter in conversation with Florian Wüst
Together with curator and publisher Florian Wüst, photographers Verena Hägler and Nicola Reiter question the image of the urban periphery. What are the similarities and differences between the transit areas on the outskirts of Munich, Berlin and other major cities? The focus here is on the landscape as well as on the local people and non-human creatures. Which narratives are conveyed by the artistic photography and which by the autofictional and documentary texts, which form an important part of the exhibition extended into public space? Excerpts from the publication RAND (published by Spector Books) will be read with audience participation.
Florian Wüst was born in Munich and lives as a freelance film curator, publisher and lecturer in Berlin.
