The catalog published by argobooks documents an interdisciplinary project that addressed current issues of mobility, tourism and migration over the course of two years with workshops, seminars, lectures, residencies and exhibitions in Italy, Romania and Germany. For the Berlin exhibition at the nGbK and Kunstraum Kreuzberg, the initiators Marina Sorbello and Antje Weitzel have selected 25 artistic positions from 17 countries, some of which were created as part of residency grants. The English-language volume brings together essays, interviews, case studies and artistic interventions by Oraib Toukan and Daniel Gontz as a contribution to the current debate on new forms of flexible living and being permanently on the move. „We worked with a ‘pluriversality’ of different formats, media, theories, views, and inspirational sources all of which have enriched the project a great deal,“ write Sorbello and Weitzel in their foreword.
