Prof. T. Melih Görgün is an artist, curator, and founder of Sinopale—the International Sinop Biennale, which is considered one of the world’s most significant examples of participatory biennial formats. In his lecture, he explores how collaborative artistic production models can function beyond established structures. Drawing on his many years of experience in Istanbul, Sinop, and Berlin, he asks: How can participatory and interdisciplinary curatorial practices succeed in reaching new audiences—and what can we learn from international approaches?

An event by CCCberlin and Internationale Gesellschaft der Bildenden Künste,
