The talk with curator Anna Voswinckel (Camera Austria, Graz) about Matthias Hoch’s work will focus on the classification of his photographic oeuvre. The decision to use analog color photography on sheet film goes back to the time of Hoch’s education at the HGB Leipzig, where both Hoch and Voswinckel have taught at different times. Furthermore, the question arises as to what the transfer of a work cycle conceived for the walls or pages of a book does to the images when they are transferred to mega poster format for public spaces.

Beforehand, a jam session with musicians from the Tiele-Winckler-Haus will take place on the green space at 4 pm.
